About FlowAI

Built by service-business operators, for the contractors losing calls every night.

FlowAI is a 24/7 AI phone team for HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical shops — answering every call, booking the job, and texting the owner before the homeowner hangs up. We exist so the trades stop losing after-hours revenue to voicemail.

Why we built it

A four-tech HVAC shop was losing 59% of inbound calls after 5 PM.

FlowAI started alongside a four-crew HVAC company in Round Rock, Texas. Their owner was on-call himself, their dispatcher arrived Monday mornings to a voicemail box with twenty-plus unheard messages, and roughly three out of every five after-hours callers were already gone to the next HVAC company on Google by the time anyone called back.

That shop wasn't unusual. The data we kept seeing across service-business benchmarks — 62% of inbound calls going to voicemail, 80% of voicemail callers hanging up without leaving a message, a 21% loss rate after a single miss — meant the average local contractor was leaving hundreds of dollars an hour on the table every evening.

What FlowAI actually does

Answers, books, dispatches, follows up — without an answering service bill.

FlowAI takes the place of a live answering service for a fraction of the cost. When a homeowner rings, a tuned AI answers on the first ring, qualifies whether the call is an emergency or a routine quote, books directly into your existing calendar and dispatch board, and texts the owner a one-line summary before the caller has hung up.

If the caller says "no-AC," "no-heat," or "gas smell," FlowAI live-transfers straight to your on-call line. If they need a tune-up, they get a Calendly link on the call and a confirmation text in under a minute. Either way, no caller walks away wondering whether someone will call them back.

The team

Operators, dispatchers, and AI engineers — all in one room.

We're a small team that has run service businesses, answered the 2 AM emergency line, and shipped the software behind every FlowAI call. Three of us, one mission.

FlowAI Founder
CEO

Runs FlowAI end-to-end. Came to this from years working alongside the trades — onboarding new shops, watching the first week of after-hours calls, and obsessing over the difference between a booked job and a voicemail hangup.

AI / Voice Engineering
Head of AI

Owns the conversation stack — call routing, intent detection, escalation logic, and the live-transfer path that triggers when a caller describes an emergency. Tunes every agent against real HVAC, plumbing, and roofing calls so the AI sounds like your best dispatcher, not a script.

Operations & Success
Customer Operations

Runs onboarding, dispatch integration, and the weekly review every FlowAI shop gets after go-live. Answers your calls when you call us — same standard we hold FlowAI to on every customer line.

"One missed call out of every five is a job that doesn't come back. We've watched FlowAI turn that number around for service-business owners who were already great at the work — they just needed the phone covered while they were on a roof or under a crawlspace."

See it on your calls.

Tell us about your shop. We'll map your current answer rate, after-hours volume, and average job value onto the same worksheet we'd build for any new customer — so you can see what FlowAI catches on your line before you commit.
